New COTC Page under construction

I've been wanting to redo the website for a while now.  The problem was that I wanted to redo it in CSS, but knew nothing about it.  After a few days of pulling out my hair I can safely say that I don't hate CSS with a passion any more, though I am far from really understanding it.

Anyway, after a few days of playing around w/ expression web 2, going through several tutorials, and just playing around with the code, here is the beginning blocks of the new COTC site design.  I still have a ways to go just for the front page.

After getting booted from Adsdaq, I am giving very serious thoughts to going the blog route w/ a front page and having COTC and Sebo a click away within the site.  As to what coding horrors this will present being on Keenspot, I don't know.  I guess I should ask.  :\

CSS is new to me too. I run a forum for broadcast people and satellite truck engineers and have had to do some tweaking on the code. If you get it figured out, let me know.

New page
I like the look of the new page.

I was thinking: If you're finding CSS so much hassle, could you do it another way?

Is it OK if I ask what happened with Adsdaq?

I hope you're fine and I'm looking forward to the new site.

Re: New page
Thanks, Franc. Please don't bother w/ the ADSDAQ. Several webcomicers higher up the food chain than me have already asked and they keep getting a form response. Basically our sites don't match their search criteria and they won't tell us what that is. Also, it seems, comic strips and anime are a no-no on ADSDAQ sites now. They use software to "spider" text on websites to deliver ads. Too many graphics and the spiders go hungry I guess.

On a more cheerful note, I'm made more progress on the site. Here it is: http://clanofthecats.com/practice1.html

I also upgraded the Melpomene site: http://clanofthecats.com/Melpomene/

Anyway, I thank you for your concern. it is very much appreciated. Have a Happy Christmas!
